Frequentlyasked questions
What makes NOMI different?+
32g of complete plant protein worked into the noodle itself, not dusted on top. Real ingredients, no artificial flavors, no preservatives, and a non-fried noodle that keeps its spring.
How much protein is in each cup?+
32 grams of complete plant protein, with all nine essential amino acids, at 230 calories per prepared cup.
Is it really vegan?+
All of it. The noodle, the broth, every topping flake. Savory Umami Beef is a flavor name, not an ingredient claim: the depth comes from shiitake, soy, sesame and spice.
Do you use artificial ingredients?+
No. No artificial flavors, no preservatives, nothing you can't pronounce. The noodle is steamed and air-dried, never oil-fried.
How do I prepare NOMI?+
Peel the lid halfway, pour boiling water to the line, close the lid. Five minutes, stir from the bottom, eat. Kettle over microwave. The noodle keeps its spring that way.

Is instant ramen healthy?+
Most instant ramen is fried noodles with about 5 grams of protein, 40 to 55 grams of refined carbs, and 1,500mg or more of sodium. NOMI rebuilds the format: 32 grams of complete plant protein, 230 calories, 14 to 16 grams of net carbs, and 630 to 700mg of sodium, with a non-fried noodle. Same ritual, different label. Read both and decide.
Can NOMI replace rice or pasta?+
Yes, that is what it is built for. Drain the broth and the noodles work anywhere rice, pasta or instant noodles used to sit: a bowl at breakfast, a plate at dinner, a base under whatever you were going to cook anyway. Where a cup of rice gives you about 4 grams of incomplete protein, a NOMI base gives you 32 grams of complete protein for about the same calories. A NOMI cup carries 32 grams at 230 calories, which makes it one of the few late-night meals that’s working for you while you sleep.
How is NOMI different from other high protein ramen?+
NOMI carries 32 grams of complete plant protein per cup, more than any protein ramen we know of, at 230 calories, with the protein kneaded into a non-fried noodle instead of a fortified packet. We publish third-party test results so you don’t have to take our word for the label. And we built it for a specific job: the starch half of the plate, at breakfast, lunch, dinner, or anywhere rice or pasta used to sit.
Is NOMI keto?+
No, and we won’t pretend. A cup carries 14 to 16 grams of net carbs. That’s a fraction of conventional ramen’s 40 to 55 grams, and it fits most macro budgets, but strict keto it is not.
Can I eat NOMI every day?+
A NOMI cup runs 630mg of sodium, roughly a third of what conventional instant ramen carries, with 32 grams of protein and 230 calories. It’s built to be a staple, not a cheat. Like anything, it belongs in a varied diet, but this is the rare cup of ramen where eating it nightly isn’t the confession it used to be.
Who is NOMI for?+
People who read labels. Anyone tired of half the plate doing nothing, whether that plate is breakfast, lunch, dinner or a cup at a desk. If you want the cheapest possible cup of noodles, the gas station has you covered and we mean that without judgment. This is for people who want the starch on the plate to hold up its end.
