Ingredients

  • 2 packs NOMI Base Protein (prepared, drained)
  • 1 egg (for bun binding)
  • 6oz ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • Dill pickles
  • Special sauce (mayo + ketchup + relish)
  • Sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare 2 NOMI Base Protein packs (6 minutes each). Drain completely and let cool for 2 minutes.
  2. Mix drained noodles with 1 beaten egg until evenly combined.
  3. Pack noodle mixture into two 4-inch ring molds or ramekins. Press firmly to compact.
  4. Heat oil in pan over medium-high. Carefully transfer noodle patties to pan. Pan-fry 3 minutes per side until crispy and golden.
  5. While buns cook, form ground beef into 6oz patty. Season with salt and pepper. Cook to desired doneness, add cheese in final minute.
  6. Assemble burger: bottom bun, special sauce, lettuce, tomato, beef patty with cheese, pickles, top bun.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top bun. Serve immediately while noodle buns are still crispy.
